'Roads of Pune' blog contains photos of Pune roads. This year (year 2005) Pune has seen a very bad state of its roads, which needs immediate attention from the concerned authorities. There are petitions and forums working for this cause. This blog is to support these efforts and display the poor state of Pune road through the powerful medium of photography. I welcome everyone to join in this blog and/or send photos of road conditions to pramod@goggi.net
Before starting with the photos of the bad state of roads, I felt we start with some appreciation to the PMC and the concerned contractor of Jungli Maharaj Road. It is the ideal example of a road construction, standing the way it is from decades. Why can't all the Pune Roads be constucted the way J.M.Road was constructed

Snaps are more effective than words and these ones really represent the pathetic road conditions. Lets hope other as well post the similar snaps.
This is not perfect as deemed. Where are the footpaths. A road without pavement is incomplete.
hey hiii i m aniket sahani from the sinhgad institue ,pune doing F.Y.engnn in computers ,well i was also thinking about the same issue .u must be knowing that the J.M.ROAD was constructed for a reason at that time and that was for a world race that took place in the year may be around 1975 to 1976 and for that special cause it was constructed by a company named appolo builders or may be contractors ,a mumbai based company .till then the company was exempeted from recieving any orders becoz of the great job that they have done by constructing the jm road .can u find the address of this company or do something about this to carry our issue forward.well my email id is aniket.sahani@yahoo.co.in.plzz reply.
